Artistic Director Les Waters and Managing Director Jennifer Bielstein are delighted to announce the 38th Humana Festival of New American Plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville, running February 26-April 6, 2014. This year's Festival program will feature (in order of opening):

59E59 Theaters welcomes The Infinity Repertory Theatre Company with the US premiere of TOWARDS THE MOON, written and composed by Andrew McGregor, directed by Paul Andrew Perez, with musical direction by Steve Loftus and choreography by Abby Bernbaum. TOWARDS THE MOON begins performances on Tuesday, November 19 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 1. Press opening is Tuesday, November 27 at 7:30 PM. The performance schedule is Tuesday - Thursday at 7:30 PM; Friday and Saturday at 8:30 PM; and Sunday at 3:30 PM. Please note, there is an added performance on Saturday, November 23 at 2:30 PM, and there is no performance on Thursday, November 28 for Thanksgiving. La Mama E.T.C. will present the work's world premiere tonight, April 4 to 21 in its Ellen Stewart Theater, directed and choreographed by Dan Safer.

The play will run in the Victor Jory Theatre beginning tonight, March 20, opening March 22 and running through April 7th.

The 37th Humana Festival of New American Plays, made possible by a generous grant from the Humana Foundation, opens with the world premiere of Sam Mark's The Delling Shore, directed by Actors Theatre's associate artistic director Meredith McDonough. The Delling Shore is playing in the Bingham Theatre and begins previews tonight, February 27, opens March 1 and runs through April 7.
