Girls Will Be Girls, the world premiere of a play by actor and writer Claire Mack, will open next month at The Alice Griffin Jewel Box Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

Hoenig Theatre Artist Scholarship has announced the Summer 2021 scholarship recipients. Board President Ann Hoenig and members of the board are proud to announce over $15,000 in scholarships have been awarded to deserving theatre artists from across the nation.

Forward Theater Company continues its 10th anniversary season celebration by producing its first musical, Fun Home (Book & Lyrics by Lisa Kron, Music by Jeanine Tesori) This groundbreaking musical is based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel, and is the winner of five Tony Awards, including Best Musical. As an added bonus, Forward Theater is excited to feature Tony Award-winning actress Karen Olivo in the production as Adult Alison. This Wisconsin premiere will be presented in the Playhouse at Overture Center, through November 25.

This hit musical, based on Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, will be directed by Artistic Director Mark Clements, who reunites with the same creative team behind last season's wildly successful hit production of Ragtime. This will be the fifth musical that Clements has directed at The Rep.
