The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association Announces 2021 Summer Season at The Ford

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association has announced details of the 2021 summer season at The Ford, marking the return to live in-person performances at the historic venue. From July 30 through October 31, the upcoming season is the venue’s first under the stewardship of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association.

The Hollywood Bowl and The Ford to Reopen for the 2021 Season

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association announced today that it will reopen its outdoor concert venues—the Hollywood Bowl and The Ford—for the 2021 season.  Based on Los Angeles County Public Health guidance, the Hollywood Bowl will be able to welcome a limited-capacity audience of approximately 4,000 when concerts resume in May.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic today announced the details of the second season of Sound/Stage, beginning Friday, March 5, 2021, with new episodes released through June 25, 2021.

The Los Angeles Philharmonic today announced the details of SOUND/STAGE, an online compendium of concert films and related interviews, essays, and artwork. Films will be released weekly beginning September 25, through November 20, 2020. The series is one of a number of far-reaching media partnerships and digital initiatives, including the At Home with Gustavo radio program and In Concert at the Hollywood Bowl television series, to fall under the LA Phil Media umbrella.

LA Philharmonic Announces New CFO, Karen Sturges

Chad Smith, David C. Bohnett Chief Executive Officer Chair of the Los Angeles Philharmonic Association, announced today, on behalf of the Board of Directors and Music & Artistic Director Gustavo Dudamel, the appointment of Karen Sturges to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Karen joins the LA Phil from Endeavor Content, where she was the SVP and Head of Finance.

Hollywood Bowl Season Canceled Due to the Health Crisis
