BroadwayWorld, the biggest theater site on the web, today announces nominations for the Chicago Theatre Fans' Choice Awards! The 121 nominees in the 25 categories are all listed below, representing 57 different theater productions in the Chicago area which opened between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2010. These productions were mounted by 33 separate theaters or companies.

Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment are thrilled to announce, with Broadway In Chicago that Billy Elliot the Musical, currently playing at the Ford Center for the Performing Arts, Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph), is extending its run in Chicago by fifteen weeks through October 24, 2010.

Tickets for the much anticipated Canadian Premiere of Billy Elliot go on sale Monday morning and Mirvish is offering 100 free tickets to the first people in line at 9AM. Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions will be holding open auditions in Toronto on Saturday, March 13 to find boys ages nine through twelve to play the roles of ‘Billy' and ‘Michael' in the North American companies of Billy Elliot the Musical. The auditions will take place at 509 DANCE (509 Parliament Street at Carlton Street) in Toronto. Sign-up will begin at 12:30 p.m.
