With original music and lyrics by six-time GRAMMY® Award-winning icon BeBe Winans book by Charles Randolph-Wright, BeBe Winans, and Lisa D'Amour, and direction by Charles-Randolph Wright (Motown the Musical), Born For This celebrates the incredible true story of BeBe Winans - a young man who follows his heart and finds his destiny.
Joining the all-star line-up for the 38th annual edition of PBS' A CAPITOL FOURTH, the country's longest-running live national July 4 TV tradition, are theatrical icon and triple-threat Broadway legend Chita Rivera, multi-platinum pop singer and songwriter Andy Grammer, and THE VOICE Season 14 finalist Kyla Jade. Grammer will perform his hit "Back Home," the lead single from his Gold-certified album Magazines or Novels, on America's national Independence Day celebration. Gospel singer Jade will open the show with a performance of the "National Anthem."

The historic onstage rematch between Chicago Sinfonietta, the previous winner in 2015, and Mucca Pazza will be Saturday, May 12 at 8 p.m. at Wentz Concert Hall at North Central College, 171 E. Grammy award-winning gospel artist Cece Winans has released a new gospel version of the song, “Beautifully Broken,”written by Jenny Slate Lee and pop artist Plumb. The moving song serves as title track for the upcoming feature film of the same name, Beautifully Broken,in theaters August 24th. There are three unique versions of the song with Dove award-winning pop singer Plumb, and Grammy award-winning country artist, John Berry, recording their own renditions to spread the uplifting track's message across genres.
