After the last two weeks' eliminations on NBC's The Voice, I really I didn't know what to believe in anymore. Two weeks ago, an extremely talented fan favorite, Dez Duron, was sent home, and last week Adam Levine's last two mentees, including powerhouse rocker Amanda Brown, left as well. It's times like those when you just have to wonder what all of the voters in America were thinking. So tonight, the Fab Four became only three, and I was bracing myself for another one of my favorites to leave. At the start of tonight's show, the only contestants left were from Teams CeeLo Green and Blake Shelton. So don that more than adequate pessimism and let the nerve-wracking evening begin!
Johnny Avello of Wynn Las Vegas calculates the odds to win THE VOICE for 12/10/2012. 'The Voice' returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show's third season. Celebrity musician coaches Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton return along with Carson Daly as host and Christina Milian as Social Media Correspondent.
The top six artists performed live in front of coaches Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, CeeLo Green and Blake Shelton for America's vote last night on NBC's THE VOICE. Below, check out performances by Cassadee Pope: 'I'm with You', Nicholas David: 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow', Melanie Martinez: 'The Show', and Amanda Brown: 'Here I Go Again'.
The results show tonight included some great performances, (including special guests: the Muppets) but also some ridiculously nerve-wracking moments, as the audience waited to see who America saved and which two would have to go home.
Monday night, November 26, began week four of the live shows, getting down to the best of the best, because there are only eight singers left. Three from Team CeeLo Green, two from Teams Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, and only one from Team Christina all performed tonight in groups and individually, hoping to make it to the top six. They sang their hearts out, knowing that their journey could end this week.
The results shows are very fun, because it's an hour of variety in which the coaches actually get to show off why they are part of this singing show. This is something that distinguishes The Voice on NBC from other shows like it. Another fun part is that the contestants get to sing together, and they can relax because they are not being judged on their performance. Then of course there are the guest performers, like Rascal Flatts tonight. All of those elements were part of tonight's results show, which revealed the Top 8 by the end.
The Top 10 on NBC's The Voice took the stage tonight, vying to keep their spots on the show. The stakes were very high because the decision is completely up to America to vote for their favorite. No coaches can save them now. So Christina Aguilera's last two contestants performed, as well as Blake Shelton's two, Adam Levine's three, and CeeLo Green's three.
Last night on NBC's The Voice, the top three contestants from each team performed, and after the show, America voted on who to keep and who to boot off. So tonight, Carson Daly revealed The Voice Season 3's Top Ten!
The Top Twelve Live Rounds began tonight after last week, which was the first week of voting. The top twelve contestants from Teams CeeLo Green, Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Blake Shelton sang tonight, allowing fans to yet again vote for their favorites after the show ended. But this time, the coaches don't get to save anyone. It's completely up to the people now.
Tonight on NBC's THE VOICE, the Live Playoffs came to a dramatic close as the Top 20 artists were whittled down to the Top 12 as coaches Christina Aguilera, CeeLo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton each filled up their teams with three artists to round out the final 12 competitors.
Remember, remember the fifth of November… The Live Playoffs on NBC's The Voice are off and running as of tonight! Singers from Teams Adam Levine and Blake Shelton braved the stage and the wild crowd to pursue their dreams. Adam said, "It's like a more serious Olympics." In the Live Playoffs, all five of the contestants from each team perform, and this time, it's up to America to decide who gets to stay and who goes home.
Night five of the Battle Rounds on NBC's The Voice tonight showed that dreams do come true. Every single one of the contestants tonight had something to prove, whether for themselves personally, or for family, they gave these performances all they had. There were some great tear-jerking moments tonight, as usual.
Tonight's episode of The Voice was slightly unusual because it was almost a recap in and of itself. The purpose of the show tonight was to refresh the audience on who the contestants were, what they sang, and of course on whose team they are now.
