VIETGONE Comes to Arkansas March 18

The irreverent new comedy and recent off-Broadway hit Vietgonewill begin performances at TheatreSquared on March 14. Set in 1975 after the Fall of Saigon, this New York Times Critics' Pick is a stranger-than-fiction true love story between two refugees-who find each other on the other side of the world. Qui Nguyen, a playwright and screenwriter for Marvel Studios, deploys hip-hop, fight sequences, and up-to-the-minute pop culture references to tell his own origin story as his parents "meet cute" in the repurposed barracks of a relocation camp in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.

INTAR (Lou Moreno, Artistic Director/John McCormack, Executive Director) is proud to announce that the acclaimed world premiere of THE MAIDS by Jose Rivera, adapted from the play by Jean Genet, will extend until October 30th.  Daniel Irizarry directs a cast that features Laura Butler Rivera, Daniel Irizarry, Charlie Munn, Casey Robinson, and Folami Williams.  THE MAIDS by Jose Rivera is presented in association with One-Eighth Theater (founded by its Artistic Directors Daniel Irizarry and Laura Butler Rivera), which is continuing its residency at INTAR Theatre.  THE MAIDS was developed, in part, with assistance from the Orchard Project, a program of The Exchange (Ari Edelson, Artistic Director Dean Strober, Executive Director, www.exchangenyc.org).

Salome at Dixon Place) and James Rutherford (All That Dies And Rises at IATI; The Importance of Being Ernest Hemingway at Access Theater) at JACK (502 1/2 Waverly Avenue between Fulton Street and Atlantic Avenue, Brooklyn) July 22-31 with performances on Friday, July 22, Saturday, July 23, Sunday, July 24, Monday, July 25, Thursday, July 28, Friday, July 29, and Saturday, July 30 at 8pm and Sunday, July 31 at 3pm.
