SHN: Broadway in San Francisco shared a video on Twitter yesterday that depicted a timelapse of the San Francisco company of The Book of Mormon loading in. The video shows the crew piecing together the set and allows fans to get a glimpse of how their favorite show is created.

Broadway San Jose, a Nederlander Presentation, announced today the six productions that will comprise the lineup for its 10th anniversary season - ON YOUR FEET! (October 9-14, 2018), based on the story and music of 26-time Grammy Award-winning icons Emilio and Gloria Estefan; the 10-time Tony Award-nominated hilarious new musical smash SOMETHING ROTTEN! (January 29-February 3, 2019); Andrew Lloyd Webber's beloved iconic musical CATS (February 19-24, 2019); the hit Broadway musical DISNEY'S ALADDIN (April 10-21, 2019); the stunning new production of the acclaimed Tony Award-winning musical FIDDLER ON THE ROOF (May 21-26, 2019); and the brand-new Andrew Lloyd Webber Broadway and West End smash hit SCHOOL OF ROCK - THE MUSICAL (June 4-9, 2019). Two season add-on productions will be announced at a later date.

Today, the East Jefferson General Hospital Broadway in New Orleans at the Saenger Theatre announced its line-up of shows for its 2018 - 2019 season, presented by the New Orleans Theatre Association. HAMILTON will play its New Orleans engagement March 12 - 31, 2019, and anchor the Broadway in New Orleans season with six other shows. Along with one special option, the new season represents a wide range of Tony Award® winners and song-and-dance favorites for New Orleans audiences to enjoy.

BOOK OF MORMON Lottery Begins February 6 at the SHN Orpheum

THE BOOK OF MORMON, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the National Tour, which begins February 6 at the SHN Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco and plays a limited four-week engagement through March 4. In San Francisco, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

It was announced today that the hilarious new Broadway musical comedy THE PROM will star Tony Award Nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Something Rotten!), Tony Award Winner Beth Leavel (The Drowsy Chaperone), two-time Tony Award Nominee Christopher Sieber (Shrek the Musical), Caitlin Kinnunen (Bridges of Madison County), Isabelle McCalla (Aladdin), Michael Potts (Jitney), Angie Schworer (The Producers), Courtenay Collins (Broadway Debut) and Josh Lamon (Groundhog Day) and will officially open on Broadway on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at a Shubert theater to be announced.
