Clockwork Theater Presents Premiere of Jason Hall's GBS, 3/20-4/10

The Clockwork Theatre, a New York City-based non-profit organization is proud to announce the second production of their 5th Anniversary season with the US Premiere of G.B.S., written by Jason Hall, directed by Jay Rohloff. Performances will begin on Saturday, March, 20; opening Sunday, March 28 at 2PM and will run through April 10, 2010 at the Kirk Theatre (410 West 42nd Street).

Cheatom, Doman & Marvel Lead Suzan-Lori Park's THE BOOK OF GRACE at The Public, 3/2 - 4/4

The Public Theater announced complete casting for the world premiere of Suzan-Lori Parks' THE BOOK OF GRACE, directed by James Macdonald. The complete cast will feature Amari Cheatom as Buddy, John Doman as Vet, and the previously announced Elizabeth Marvel as Grace. THE BOOK OF GRACE will begin previews on Tuesday, March 2 and run through Sunday, April 4 with an official press opening on Tuesday, March 16. All evening performances for THE BOOK OF GRACE will be at 7:30 PM, except for Saturdays at 8 PM.

Alec Baldwin to Star in EQUUS at Guild Hall this Summer

According to the New York Times, following his stint as Oscar co-host this Sunday, Alec Baldwin will be heading back to the east coast to star as the psychiatrist Martin Dysart in Peter Shaffer's Equus this summer at Guild Hall in East Hampton, N.Y. The production will run from June 8 - July 13 at the John Drew Theater at Guild Hall.
