HGTV extended production of six popular series, ordering new episodes of Elbow Room, starring contractor Chip Wade who transforms homes with customized renovations to perfectly fit the homeowners' needs, as well as I Want That, a series that spotlights the most outrageous innovations and the latest home trends and must-haves for modern living. Additionally, HGTV's Million Dollar Rooms, hosted by Carter Oosterhouse, will continue to feature one-of-a-kind multi-million dollar spaces around the globe.

HGTV's summer programming continues with six all-new series and 13 specials premiering throughout July, August and September. The network has fresh offerings for every fan of the home, including those who enjoy peeking inside other people's houses, travel enthusiasts and reality competition addicts. Highly anticipated new series include Buying and Selling, hosted by the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, and Living Abroad, where host Chi-Lan Lieu visits Americans adapting to their new lives outside the United States. New specials include the HGTV Green Home Giveaway 2012 and HGTV Urban Oasis Tour 2012.
In advance of its first Upfront presentation in Boston, HGTV announced that it has added seven new original series to its 2012 programming lineup, including Mom Caves featuring Beth Stern, aka Mrs. Howard Stern, and Design Star All Stars which pits former HGTV Design Star runners-up against each other for a chance to win $25,000 and a guest appearance on an HGTV show.
