Pipeline Theatre's TRANSPORTS Opens in London Tonight

Following the success of their 5* 2015 Edinburgh hit Spillikin, (nominated for the Carol Tambor 'Best of the Fringe' award), Cornwall's Pipeline Theatre revives its debut play TRANSPORTS for a national tour in Spring 2016, running now through 26 March 2016, with a London Press Night set for tonight 1 March, 7.30pm at the Pleasance Theatre.

The 2016 season opens with the Australian premiere production of the award-winning play The Events. With acclaimed star of stage and screen Catherine McClements performing alongside a di erent local community choir on stage each night, The Events is State Theatre Company's Adelaide Festival production in 2016.

KEY CHANGE to Receive US Premiere at Fourth Street Theater

The Carol Tambor Theatrical Foundation is thrilled to announce the US premiere of the critically-acclaimed KEY CHANGE, an Open Clasp production, written by Catrina McHugh and directed by Laura Lindow. KEY CHANGE comes to the US as the 2015 winner of the Best of Edinburgh Award given annually by the Foundation. Performances begin on Thursday, January 7 for a limited engagement through Sunday, January 31. Press Opening is Wednesday, January 13 at 7 PM. The performance schedule is Thursday - Saturday at 7 PM; Sunday at 5 PM. Please note the following schedule adjustments: there is an added performance on Monday, January 11 at 7 PM; there is no performance on Tuesday, January 12. Performances are at the Fourth Street Theater (83 East 4th Street, between Bowery & Second Avenue). The ticket price ranges from $25 - $35. Theatre francais de Toronto and PANAMANIA, presented by CIBC, present LEO, a mind-bending, funny, surreal, and surprisingly touching work that challenges the senses and tests perceptions of reality through the clever interplay of live acrobatic performance and video projection. Directed by the Montreal actor and director Daniel Briere, and based on an original idea by the multi-talented performer Tobias Wegner, LEO begins tonight, July 17, and runs through the 19th at the Fleck Dance Theatre, Harbourfront Centre, as part of the Arts and Culture Festival PANAMANIA presented by CIBC.

First premiered by the Royal Shakespeare Company at Hampstead Theatre in 2010, this tour marks the U.S. premiere of Dunsinane after a highly successful tour to East Asia and Russia in spring 2014. Hailed by The Guardian as 'a work of compelling intelligence, provocation and wit,' Dunsinane will play at the Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) from tonight, February 4-21, 2015.

Annenberg Center Live Welcomes 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Hit THE EVENTS Tonight

With the 2014 Philadelphia Fringe Festival closed, Annenberg Center Live welcomes the Best New Play winner from the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. The Philadelphia premiere of The Events by David Greig is a co-production between the Actors Touring Company, Brageteatret, Drammen, Schauspielhaus Vienna, and the Young Vic Theatre, London. Set in the aftermath of a mass shooting at a church choir rehearsal, The Events explores our destructive desire to fathom the unfathomable and asks how far forgiveness can stretch in the face of brutality. The Events runs at the Annenberg Center, 3680 Walnut Street, October 7-19 for 12 performances. Opening night is tonight, October 7 at 7:30 PM.
