The3 21st season of ABC's DANCING WITH THE STARS premiered last night with a gigantic opening number featuring all the contestants and pros performing a Hollywood Boulevard dance number.
Among this year's cast is Alexa PenaVega (formally Alexa Vega), who made her Broadway debut in 2007 when she played Penny Pingleton in the Tony Award winning musical HAIRSPRAY
As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Aaron Tveit (Broadway's CATCH ME IF YOU CAN,'Les Miserables') has been cast as 'Grease's' legendary leading man, 'Danny Zuko' in Fox Broadcasting Company (FOX) and Paramount Television's live production of GREASE: LIVE, airing Sunday, Jan. 31, 2016 (7:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on FOX.
Additionally, Carlos PenaVega ('Big Time Rush') will play 'Kenickie,' Zuko's tough-guy sidekick. Tveit and PenaVega join Julianne Hough ('Safe Haven,' 'Rock of Ages') as the angelic 'Sandy,' Vanessa Hudgens (Broadway's GIGI,'High School Musical,' 'Spring Breakers') as bad girl 'Rizzo' and Keke Palmer (Broadway's CINDERELLA, SCREAM QUEENS, 'Masters of Sex') as 'Marty.'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, five-member girl music group Fifth Harmony will take the stage to perform as part of Nickelodeon's sixth annual HALO Awards, which is set to air on Sunday, November 30th at 7pm.
Nickelodeon combines the hilarious world of viral videos, physical challenges and slime in a fresh new format with its latest game show creation, WebHeads, premiering daily beginning Monday, June 2 at 6 P.M. (ET/PT). Hosted by Nickelodeon and Big Time Rush alum, Carlos PenaVega, and produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, the series features kid contestants as they compete in elimination challenges revolving around viral videos. Each round will test kids' video instincts - from predicting outcomes to guessing their popularity, as voted by the studio audience. The show will anchor Nickelodeon's weekday live-action block with all-new episodes premiering Monday through Friday during the month of June.
