The Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame (LIMEHOF) in Stony Brook Village hosted its first-ever Americana Music Festival this past weekend, filling the air with live performances from six Long Island artists on the Hall of Fame’s outdoor balcony.
Lyrics for Life is a concert series that has been seen in New York City and Los Angeles since 2014, featuring young talent from Broadway, TV, film, London's West End, award-winning dancers, musicians, and more.
Mackenzie Ziegler ('Dance Moms') and Casey Simpson (Nickelodeon's 'Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn') hosted Lyrics For Life on Sat, Sept 10, 2016 at Symphony Space. Held on World Suicide Prevention Day, the event aims to raise awareness for suicide prevention and mental health. Proceeds benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, the nation's largest non-profit dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide.
