The world premiere took place at the Galway International Arts Festival in 2015, seven short years ago. In 2022, it is now being performed in a changed world, bringing broader understanding to one man's trans experience.
Sting Joins THE HOMEBOUND PROJECT

On the heels of an acclaimed tour to dozens of local pubs dotting the Irish countryside, Chicago Shakespeare Theater welcomes Abbey Theatre's Two Pints to The Pub at Chicago Shakespeare for a limited Chicago engagement, March 6-31, 2019. Written by Booker-Prize-winning novelist Roddy Doyle and directed by Caitriona McLaughlin, the production invites audiences to pull up a stool in the Theater's intimate lobby gathering space for an immersive, site-specific theatrical experience, starring Liam Carney and Philip Judge. Over the course of a few rounds, their characters' banter evolves into a wide-reaching and deeply revealing dialogue on life, loss, and vegetarianism-hailed 'achingly, breathtakingly funny' by The Sunday Independent.
Roddy Doyle's TWO PINTS Returns to Pubs Around the UK

After last year's sell-out tour of pubs across Ireland, the Abbey Theatre's Two Pints by Roddy Doyle is back for another round stopping off at pubs in Ireland and the UK. Directed by Caitriona McLaughlin, Two Pints will head back on the road in August and September. The tour kicks off in The Flowing Tide on Lower Abbey Street in Dublin, before performances in Carlow, Louth, Longford, Derry, Newcastle upon Tyne and Sunderland.

Playing on Air, a public radio show featuring recordings of select contemporary short American plays, returns to BRIC House for a new season of performances. Nine short plays by notable American playwrights (three per evening) will be recorded live at BRIC House, 647 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn on October 20, 27 and December 1 at 7:30pm.
