The Drama League's DirectorFest 2014: The 31st Annual One-Act Festival, an evening of four short plays staged by the Drama League Directors Project Fall Directing Fellows Elena Heyman, Michael Leibenluft, Michael Osinski, and Caitlin Sullivan begins its limited 5-performance engagement today, December 13, and continues through December 16, 2013 at TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street, between 8th & 9th Avenues).

Blair McMillen and Pam Goldberg are thrilled to present the busiest season yet of the Rite of Summer Music Festival, taking place Summer 2014 at Colonels' Row on Governors Island, New York City. In a locale The New York Times has called a "Playground for the Arts," the aim of the Festival is simple: to present the highest quality live performances, and to bring free contemporary classical music to as many people as possible in a relaxed, fun, outdoor setting. The festival kicked off on Saturday, May 31st, with one of the most hyped and extraordinary bands to emerge in years, Dawn of Midi. Next up, Rite of Summer collaborates with New York Philharmonic's Very Young Composers to present New York: Harbor to the World, an exhilarating afternoon of world premieres, on **Sunday, July 13th.

Tony and Olivier Award winning producers, Stewart F. Lane and Bonnie Comley hosted a dinner in honor of the 2014-2015 Directors Project fellows on Tuesday, May 13th. The Directors Project fellows are in New York city for an intensive week-long orientation program which includes a series of events and opportunities to speak with theatre professionals. This two-person piece, in development with the Satori Group since 2010, explores how language colonizes our brains, the difficulty of resisting the dominant paradigm, the opportunities that love provides, and the dangers of loss. The Satori Group presents the world premiere of Martyna Majok's reWilding as the inaugural production in Satori's new home: the LAB@INScape. The production opens Friday, March 1 and runs through Sunday, March 17. reWilding has been in collaborative development for 18 months, with design and music as central elements of the process from the start. As a result, the production design is a full installation into the LAB, and the audience experience is an immersive one. With limited seating (30-40 seats per performance), this production invites our audience to join us in the world of reWilding.

The League of American Orchestras' 67th National Conference, today, June 5 through June 8, 2012 in Dallas, TX, will offer participants opportunities for orchestras, along with performances by the Dallas and Fort Worth symphony orchestras. Approximately 1,000 professionals and volunteers from across the orchestra field will attend the 2012 National Conference, which is co-presented with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and will open with an introduction on Wednesday, June 6 by Jesse Rosen, League president and CEO, and Blaine Nelson, Chairman of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Board of Governors.
