As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Andy Mientus, who currently plays 'Marius' in LES MISERABLES on Broadway, will soon make an appearance on the small screen as 'Pied Piper' in CW's THE FLASH. BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Mientus will be out of the show October 23 through November 18 to film the series. During that time, the role will be played by understudies Chris McCarrell (October 23-November 2) and Matt Rosell (November 4-18).

Will Swenson will now return to Cameron Mackintosh's new production of Claude-Michel Schonberg & Alain Boublil's LES MISERABLES a few days later than originally anticipated, BroadwayWorld has confirmed.

Award-winning musical theater writer Alexander Sage Oyen brings two completely different sets of his original songs, stripped down to their barest bones, to Don't Tell Mama for what promise to be his most personal concerts to date. The Covenant House just held the Second Annual Sleep Out: Broadway Edition last night, August 17, 2014, where members of the Broadway community spent the night sleeping on the streets outside the Covenant House to raise much needed funds for homeless youth. In the video below, this year's participants join together in 'Lean on Me.'

Oyen Sings Oyen: An Intimate Evening With Alexander Sage Oyen is set for Don't Tell Mama, 343 West 46th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues on Monday, August 25th and Thursday, August 28th at 7:30pm. Directed by Max Friedman. On August 25th only, Ariana DeBose (Pippin, Motown) and Caissie Levy (Les Miserables, Ghost) will join Oyen on stage. Special guests for the August 28th performance to be announced.

Conceived and music directed by Greg Kenna and directed by John Moauro, the evening will take the audience back in time to the 1990s through some of the most memorable hits of the decade. The evening will include songs by Santana, Mariah Carey, Bonnie Raitt, En Vogue and many more.
