Inis Nua Presents D.C. Jackson's MY ROMANTIC HISTORY, Now thru 2/24

Philadelphia's Inis Nua Theatre Company will present the Philadelphia premiere of D.C. Jackson's My Romantic History, running tonight, February 5-24 at the Off-Broad Street Theater in the First Baptist Church (1636 Sansom Street). My Romantic History premiered at the Traverse Theatre as part of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2010 where it was awarded the Scotsman Fringe First Award. It subsequently went to the Sheffield Theatre in Sheffield and the Bush Theatre in London. My Romantic History had a sold-out U.S. premiere at The Renegade Theater and Film Group in Los Angeles.

AMERICAN IDIOT Rocks Chrysler Hall in 2013, 1/25-26

Chrysler Hall is set to welcome the AMERICAN IDIOT national tour this upcoming winter, the punk rock adaptation of Green Day's conceptual album of the same name, from tonight, January 25 and tomorrow night, January 26th.

AMERICAN IDIOT Opens 2/12 in Philadelphia

The national tour of the explosive Broadway hit AMERICAN IDIOT, called "wonderfully raucous" and "emotionally charged" by The New York Times and "flat-out electrifying" by the Boston Globe, will make its Philadelphia premiere Feb. 12 - 17 at the Merriam Theater as part of the Broadway Season, presented by The Kimmel Center and The Shubert Organization. The press opening is scheduled for Tues. Feb. 12 at 7:30 pm.

AMERICAN IDIOT Comes to Providence Performing Arts Center, 2/8-10

The national tour of the explosive Broadway hit AMERICAN IDIOT will make its Providence premiere February 8 - 10, 2013 at the Providence Performing Arts Center (PPAC) for four performances only. Please note that AMERICAN IDIOT contains adult language and content.

TV Exclusive: Cast of AMERICAN IDIOT Preps for UK Tour!

Earlier this week, the cast of AMERICAN IDIOT set out for Southhampton, where they will launch the UK tour of Green Day's explosive, award-winning Broadway rock musical, which will culminate in a London season at the legendary HMV Hammersmith Apollo from December 4 - 16. Before the company left for he UK, they invited BroadwayWorld's Randy Rainbow to a New Jersey salon, where they gathered to get haircuts, dye jobs and receive overall touch-ups on their punk rock looks. New casting and additional dates have been announced for the international tour of Green Day's AMERICAN IDIOT, the two-time Tony Award®-winning Broadway hit. Alex Nee will star as Johnny, along with Thomas Hettrick as Tunny, Casey O'Farrell as Will, Alyssa DiPalma as Whatsername, Jenna Rubaii as The Extraordinary Girl, Kennedy Caughell as Heather and Trent Saunders as St. Jimmy.

The Traverse's nine-day festival held at the Theatre this month, curated by recently appointed Artistic Director, Orla O'Loughlin, closes today, April 24. Write Here featured a variety of new work at different stages of development which gives a look behind the scenes to the work of the Traverse literary team and playwrights in a series of readings, talks, workshops and performance.

The Traverse launches a nine-day festival tonight, curated by recently appointed Artistic Director, Orla O'Loughlin. Write Here will feature a variety of new work at different stages of development which give a look behind the scenes to the work of the Traverse literary team and playwrights in a series of readings, talks, workshops and performance. The festival will take place April 16th-24th.
