For nearly 15 years, Go Comedy! Improv Theater has been a cornerstone of improv and sketch comedy in metro Detroit. From impacting the lives of more than 1,000 students in Go U! The Improv Academy to being the home of hundreds of improvisers, Go Comedy! has positively influenced Metro Detroit and beyond.

Theatre NOVA, Ann Arbor's professional theatre with an exclusive focus on new plays and playwrights, presents a new play written specifically for the Zoom format each month (January through April) with their PLAY OF THE MONTH series. “Mortal Fools” by Catherine Zudak, the third offering in the series, will be performed live on Zoom on Wednesday, March 31 at 8pm and available ON DEMAND for Series Pass holders through May.

'Wow, that was an amazing show,' you said to yourself after leaving Detroit Public Theatre's (DPT) current production of Cry it Out. And you said that last month after seeing Pipeline at DPT. Two back-to-back shows that nailed every single aspect of what refreshing, topical and entertaining theatre should be.

Whodunit? The Ringwald. In the fall. With the candlestick. Clue, the 1985 cult classic comedy, is currently running through November 5th at the theatre in Ferndale. Jonathan Lynn, director and screenwriter of beloved comedy, personally created this stage adaption with additional material by Hunter Foster, Eric Price, and Sandy Rustin so fans of the film will be happy to know that the clever and quotable wordplay remains largely intact with brand-new twists and tricks! BroadwayWorld Detroit had a chance to speak with Donny Riedel who plays Wadsworth in show about comedic play, his character, and why audiences will have an amazing experience at Clue.

To make a long story short (too late!), Clue-the classic board-game-turned-movie-now turns into a crowd-pleasing on-stage farce at The Ringwald Theatre, from October 5th through November 5th.

As Go Comedy! approaches its Tenth anniversary, it's proud to present its latest original comedy, Three Two One Thursday evenings at 8:00pm September 13 through November 1. 3C is an interesting piece of theatre taking the much-loved sitcom of Three's Company to the extreme with the highs and lows of the life of Brad, Connie, and Linda. The Ringwald is the first theatre in Michigan to present play by David Adjmi that will shock the audience, make them laugh, and creep them out just a little a bit.

Dubbed "Essential Ringwald", the 10th season will highlight the kind of shows The Ringwald has come to be known for in its 10 year history. The second show of the season is 3C by David Adjmi.
