Direct from its run at Performance Network and part of the Fifth Third Bank Fox Theatre Series, "Driving Miss Daisy" will play a limited five show engagement at City Theatre in Detroit today, October 31 November 2.

Tickets are $30 and may be purchased at OlympiaEntertainment.com, the Fox Theatre and Joe Louis Arena box offices, Hockeytown Authentics in Troy (without service charge), at all Ticketmaster locations and Ticketmaster.com. To charge tickets by phone, call 18007453000.

Directed by 2014 Pulsar Award winner for Best Director and two time 2014 Wilde Award winner John Manfredi, the project reunites Manfredi and awardwinning actor James Bowen last seen together at the Network in the critically acclaimed "K2". Written by Alfred Uhry, "Driving Miss Daisy" is set in 1948 when the son of an elderly Southern matron hires a chauffeur for his mother. Over the next 25 years, the relationship between the matron and the chauffeur blossoms into one of respect and friendship as the civilrights movement brings changes to the old South. With audienc favorites Bryan Lark as Boolie and Nancy Kammer, a multiple Wilde Award Nominee, in the title role, "Driving Miss Daisy" has proven to be a great start to the new Network season.
