BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Universal Music Enterprises will release the cast album for MOTOWN: THE MUSICAL, which opened earlier this month at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, on June 4, 2013.

Set against the backdrop of 90s pop music and suggested by the true story behind the sound that defined a generation, PLOP features music and lyrics by Damon Intrabartolo (bare, Fantastic Four, Superman Returns) and a revised book by Kenneth Finkle (Alive and Well, Indoor/Outdoor) with direction by Anthony J.
