This special evening will mark their first time performing at the legendary Apollo in over 20 years. Riley and Sweat will be joined by pioneers of the sound, including, Guy, Blackstreet, Doug E. Fresh, Kool Moe Dee and more to be announced. More than a concert, The Kings and Queens of New Jack Swing underscores The Apollo's commitment to celebrating the contributions of African American artists and the Theater's role in the American and global musical landscape.

Cardi B has just released her newest single, “Money.” This marks the first solo release from Cardi B since her debut album, the 2x platinum-selling “Invasion Of Privacy.” This release comes fresh on the heels of Cardi's sit down interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Brooklyn – her first official interview since giving birth earlier this year. Cardi B recently performed the Gold certified hit “Get Up 10” as well as “Backin' It Up” alongside Pardison Fontaine at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards. Cardi also took home four awards that night – the most of any artist for the second year in a row – MVP Of The Year, Sweet 16: Best Featured Verse, Made-You-Look Awards, and Hustler Of The Year.

The Apollo Theater and SiriusXM announced today that they will present Say It Loud…With Your VOTE!, a bi-partisan political special at the Apollo on Thursday, November 1 at 7:00 pm. The exclusive event, produced in association with SiriusXM, is part of the Apollo Theater Uptown Hall series and will air across multiple SiriusXM channels debuting on November 2.

CBS Television Studios released this week the soundtrack for Season 1 of their hit TBS comedy series The Guest Book. Available everywhere, Season 1: Live at Chubby's features an 11 track collection of cover songs and new original songs written and performed by the critically acclaimed Americana duo HONEYHONEY. Comprised of Benjamin Jaffe and Suzanne Santo, who also have recurring roles in the show, HONEYHONEY were approached by Executive Producer Greg Garcia (My Name Is Earl, Raising Hope) and Music Supervisor Jonathan Leahy (Girls, Mr. Robot) to write several songs for the series, along with the award-winning theme song 'Fine By Me', and were eventually cast as actors as well. After it's debut season last year, The Guest Book became the highest rated new comedy show on cable reaching more than 3 million viewers per episode. The New York Times raved 'Helping considerably: the music of the alt-country blues duo HONEYHONEY, which is smartly deployed throughout the series.'
