The Apollo Theater is proud to present a special one night only concert featuring the return of hip-hop mega group and Harlem's own The Diplomats, popularly known as Dipset as they reunite to launch a new album. The special event will take place on November 23 at 8 p.m.

Suncoast Showroom will bring renowned entertainment to the Suncoast Hotel and Casino in December, including the highly-acclaimed tribute band "Peace Frog - Tribute to The Doors" and a New Year's Eve celebration with Vegas Super Band. Guests can also enjoy free dance parties and live entertainment throughout the month.

On Dec. 9, the Apollo Theater will celebrate 30 years of the ground-breaking New Jack Swing sound and will welcome home Harlem natives Teddy Riley and Keith Sweat for The Kings and Queens of New Jack Swing. This special evening will mark their first time performing at the legendary Apollo in over 20 years. Riley and Sweat will be joined by pioneers of the sound, including, Guy, Blackstreet, Doug E. Fresh, Kool Moe Dee and more to be announced.  More than a concert, The Kings and Queens of New Jack Swing underscores The Apollo's commitment to celebrating the contributions of African American artists and the Theater's role in the American and global musical landscape.

Cardi B has just released her newest single, “Money.” This marks the first solo release from Cardi B since her debut album, the 2x platinum-selling “Invasion Of Privacy.” This release comes fresh on the heels of Cardi's sit down interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live in Brooklyn – her first official interview since giving birth earlier this year. Cardi B recently performed the Gold certified hit “Get Up 10” as well as  “Backin' It Up” alongside Pardison Fontaine at the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards. The Apollo Theater and SiriusXM announced today that they will present Say It Loud…With Your VOTE!, a bi-partisan political special at the Apollo on Thursday, November 1 at 7:00 pm.  The exclusive event, produced in association with SiriusXM, is part of the Apollo Theater Uptown Hall series and will air across multiple SiriusXM channels debuting on November 2.    

USC Shoah Foundation-The Institute for Visual History and Education (USC Shoah Foundation) announced a collaboration with David Korins Design-whose founder David Korins is the critically acclaimed designer behind Broadway smash hits Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen-to bring USC Shoah Foundation content into museums and other organizational spaces for public exhibitions. As such, Korins will work as Creative Director for each collaborative exhibit, providing design leadership in the work with museums to display USC Shoah Foundation content, programs, and innovative storytelling technology.

North Carolina Theatre, the region's premiere nonprofit professional theatre, presents its first production of the 2018-19 season, Lin-Manuel Miranda's In the Heights, playing Oct. 16-21 at Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh.

CBS Television Studios released this week the soundtrack for Season 1 of their hit TBS comedy series The Guest Book. Available everywhere, Season 1: Live at Chubby's features an 11 track collection of cover songs and new original songs written and performed by the critically acclaimed Americana duo HONEYHONEY. Comprised of Benjamin Jaffe and Suzanne Santo, who also have recurring roles in the show, HONEYHONEY were approached by Executive Producer Greg Garcia (My Name Is Earl, Raising Hope) and Music Supervisor Jonathan Leahy (Girls, Mr. Robot) to write several songs for the series, along with the award-winning theme song 'Fine By Me', and were eventually cast as actors as well. The Apollo Theater announced today that Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Alice Smith will headline the Apollo's WOW – Women of the World Festival. The performance, featuring new music from her upcoming Full LP Mystery set to release at the end of 2018, is a part of the 3rd annual gathering of artists, activists, and leaders from around the globe at the Apollo Theater beginning March 12 and running through March 17, 2019.  Smith will bring her intoxicating mix of R&B, pop and rock along with a special musical tribute to the world famous Apollo Theater stage on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 8pm.

Atlantic recording artist Gucci Mane will wrap up another incredible year with a "Gucci Mane & Friends" holiday homecoming event, featuring a stacked lineup of special guests and set for December 27 at Atlanta's Fox Theatre.
