Tony Award-nominee Brian d’Arcy James has joined the cast of the upcoming HBO Max series, Love and Death.

Directed by Julio Quintana, written by Quintana and Chris Dowling and produced by Javier Chapa, Darren Moorman, Chris George, Ben Howard, Trey Reynolds Blue Miracle tells the incredible true story of Casa Hogar.

Freddie Stroma, Sarah Stiles, Gary Anthony Williams and Dan Ahdoot also star, Paris Berelc and Bruce McGill guest star.

The star-studded 19thAnnual EmmysGolf Classic raised $335,000 for the Television Academy Foundation. Proceeds from the fundraiser, co-sponsored by STAPLES Center Premium Seating, will benefit the nonprofit Foundation's renowned educational programs.

PIX11 will air a special marathon of The Honeymooners leading into The Carney Awards broadcast, starting at 6:00 PM. 

'The Best of Enemies' starring Taraji P. Henson and Sam Rockwell has gotten an April 5th release date from STXfilms, according to Variety.

Hollywood Casting and Film is announcing the creation of the Hollywood Talent Summit. The Summit will include a Talent Showcase, with actors performing scenes for a jury in front of a live audience, as well as successful Hollywood writers, directors, and producers, providing valuable exposure to actor and filmmaker performers. The Summit will be held February 28, 2019 in Hollywood, CA.

STXfilms, a division of Robert Simonds' global, next-generation media company STX Entertainment, announced today that it has acquired domestic distribution rights to Astute Films' THE BEST OF ENEMIES. The timely drama from first-time director Robin Bissell stars Academy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson (Hidden Figures) and Academy Award winner Sam Rockwell (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). Additionally, BAFTA TV Award-nominee Babou Ceesay (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Anne Heche (John Q), Wes Bentley (American Beauty), Bruce McGill (Lincoln), Tony Award-winner John Gallagher Jr. (Short Term 12) and Nick Searcy (The Shape of Water) lead the supporting cast. Bissell also wrote the screenplay which was inspired by the true events chronicled in The Best of Enemies: Race and Redemption in the New South, by Osha Gray Davidson. Producers include Danny Strong, Fred Bernstein, Matt Berenson, Bissell, Dominique Telson, and Material Pictures' Tobey Maguire and Matthew Plouffe. Rick Jackson and Jeremiah Samuels are executive producers.

YouTube Red has ordered a pilot for HIGH & TIGHT, a new comedy starring Sung Kang (Power, Fast Five, Better Luck Tomorrow)and Danny Pudi (Community, Powerless). HIGH & TIGHT is a baseball buddy comedy about a young translator forced far beyond his comfort zone when he's hired as the full-time interpreter-slash-babysitter for LA's newly-signed and ill-behaved star Korean outfielder.

TNT has ordered an additional season of the blockbuster hit Rizzoli & Isles, which finished this past summer as basic cable's #1 series

According to The Hollywood Reporter, TNT's 'Rizzoli & Isles' has been renewed for a seventh season. TNT has ordered 13 episodes for season seven, which is slated to launch in summer 2016.
