'Avenue Q' Tony Winning Best Musical

CHITTY CHITTY BANG BANG, the fantasmagorical Broadway musical, launches its First National Tour at Ft. Lauderdale's Broward Center for the Performing Arts for a limited two week run November 19 through November 30, 2008.

'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang' To Hit South Florida

Based on the novel by Ian Fleming, author/creator of the James Bond franchise, the production features the music and lyrics by the Sherman brothers, composers of Mary Poppins. The national tour also features an original script and fresh adaptation directed by Ray Roderick.

SHARON CARR ASSOCIATES, LTD announces the return engagement of GLIMPSES OF THE MOON, a Jazz Age musical with book & lyrics by Tajlei Levis and music by John Mercurio, directed by Marc Bruni. GLIMPSES OF THE MOON is back by popular demand for an ongoing run at Off-Broadway's Oak Room in the Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street, between 5th and 6th Ave.).

'Hairspray' Tony Winner Returns To Ft. Lauderdale

This fun musical, winner of eight 2003 Tony ® Awards including Best Musical, is currently enjoying its 5th year on Broadway. The 2007 West End production of HAIRSPRAY was nominated for a record-breaking 11 Olivier Awards and nabbed four, including the top category, Best New Musical, and also won Best New Musical in all of Britain's other top awards programs, including the Evening Standard, Critic's Circle, and Whatsonstage Awards.

Broward County Arts Teacher Of The Year - Nicole M. Greggs

A Coral Springs resident, Greggs holds a bachelor of music, magna cum laude, in music education from the University of Miami, 1999, and a masters of arts in education, from Florida Atlantic University, 1997. She has also studied abroad in vocal performance and German studies at Salzburg College, Austria, in 1990.

National Tour of 'A Chorus Line' with Snelson Begins 5/9
