Last winter, when the world was sheathed in a shroud of ice, our hearts were warmed by the story of FROZEN. Now, as the mercury starts to drop, the classic tale of innocence, loyalty, and redemption will be brought back to life with Serenbe Playhouse's The Snow Queen. The world-premiere of Rachel Teagle's adaptation will give audiences the opportunity to embark with Gerda on her heralded quest to save her brother from the icy allure of the mysterious Snow Queen. The story, which showcases the true strength love can have over cynicism, is a sure-fire way to warm our hearts all winter long. 'When we decided to produce our first holiday show we knew it needed to be set in a cold environment,' Director and Founder Brian Clowdus tells us. 'The Snow Queen has such a strong message of redemption and loyalty - what we do for those we love, how to not judge a book by its cover - it was the perfect story for us to tell.'
