Dorset Theatre Festival will present the 20th Anniversary Revival of David Ives' classic comedy All in the Timing opening July 24. All in the Timing, a collection of six zany comedies, will be directed by DTF favorite and resident director Jenn Thompson, known to local audiences for her celebrated productions of Noises Off, Boeing-Boeing and Barefoot in the Park.

Keystone Repertory Theater in Indiana, PA will wrap up it's summer 2014 season at the end of July with SWEENEY TODD: THE DEMON BARBER OF FLEET STREET and THE GLASS MENAGERIE.

Dorset Theatre Festival is proud to present the World Premiere of Leslie Ayvazian's new comedy Out of the City beginning July 10th. This is the third world premiere that Dorset has produced in the past five seasons, continuing a tradition of New Play Development to which Artistic Director Dina Janis has proven deeply committed. "Fostering new work is one of the most important things we do here at Dorset, from our Young Playwrights workshops, to our New Play Reading Series, to these exciting World Premieres. It's a thrilling and rewarding process." Past world premieres have included Theresa Rebeck's The Novelist and The Whore and Mr. Moore by Michael Cristofer.

Tonight, May 2nd, 2014, Damn The Light Promotions (a nightlife based production and promotion company founded by Mike Greco and MaryAnne Piccolo) brings their monthly tribute event 'Midnight Special' to the lower eastside rock and roll club The Delancey. Impro Theatre is set to celebrate William Shakespeare's 450th birthday tonight, April 25 with a special performance of its currently running production, Shakespeare UnScripted, a post-show discussion, and a champagne reception complete with birthday cake. The curtain will rise at 8pm at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre (upstairs at The Pasadena Playhouse) in Pasadena.

For its much-anticipated 12th annual season, the Downtown Urban Theater Festival (DUTF) will again take residency at HERE's Mainstage in New York City, today, April 2nd through 19th, 2014, with three weeks of new groundbreaking theatre.

Downtown Urban Theater Festival (DUTF), now heading into its 12th season, welcomes springtime in NYC with three weeks of new theatre at HERE's Mainstage, April 2 to 19, 2014. Seventeen of America's best emerging writers and theatrical visionaries will share their stories that interpret our history and our times through live performances fusing theatre, dance, music, media and visual arts. A special addition to this year's festival will be the U.S. premiere of Two of Us, DUTF's international selection from Romania.

Impro Theatre has announced their newest production, Shakespeare UnScripted, directed by Brian Lohmann and Dan O'Connor. Shakespeare UnScripted begins preview performances on Thursday, March 20 at the Carrie Hamilton Theatre (upstairs at The Pasadena Playhouse) in Pasadena. Opening is set for Sunday, March 30, at 5pm. Performances will continue through May 4 only.
