Kelli O'Hara Debuts At Feinstein's 10/19-30

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its Fall 2010 season with the debut engagement of Broadway star and three-time Tony Award nominee KELLI O'HARA from October 19 - 30.

Mare Winningham, Winslet, O'Byrne & Wood Team Up for HBO's 'Mildred Pierce'

Stage and screen stars Brian F. O'Byrne, Evan Rachel Wood, and Mare Winningham are set to join Kate Winslet in the upcoming HBO Miniseries, 'Mildred Pierce.' The show will center around Winslet as Mildred Pierce Beragon as she worked as a waitress to support her family, consisting of her husband Bert, played by O'Byrne, and her daughter Veda, played by Wood, in Los Angeles during the Great Depression.

The Mandell Theatre Offers Halloween Weekend Discount for FROZEN, 10/30 - 11/1

The Mandell Theatre of the Lowndes Shakespeare Center in Loch Haven Park now through November 8th is offering a special Halloween weekend discount for it's production of Frozen, playing now through November 8. Beginning tonight, Friday, October 30 through Sunday, November 1, the theater will be offering a $20/ 2 tickets special.

Broadway leading lady and three-time Tony nominee Kelli O'Hara will open fall season at the legendary Café Carlyle. Before returning to the Broadway stage in the revival of South Pacific (October 13) following the birth of her first child this summer, Ms. O'Hara will offer encore performances of her sold out debut in a two-week engagement beginning Tuesday, September 15th (and playing through September 26th).

Minnelli, Holliday, Grey & More Sing 'NEW YORK MOMENTS' with NY Philharmonic 4/20

Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Marvin Hamlisch will lead the New York Philharmonic in New York Moments, a concert featuring iconic musical moments from Broadway and film, with stars from the stage and screen (in alphabetical order): Ashley Brown, who originated the title role in Mary Poppins on Broadway; Maria Friedman, who played Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd and Marian in The Woman in White in London; Joel Grey, whose numerous starring roles have included the famous M.C. in Cabaret, on Broadway and in the film; Jennifer Holliday, one of the original Dreamgirls; Liza Minnelli, last seen on Broadway in Liza's at The Palace; Kelli O'Hara and Paulo Szot, stars of the current Lincoln Center Theater production of South Pacific; and 15-year-old up-and-coming singer, Nikki Yanofsky. The concert will take place Monday, April 20, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. All except Mr. Hamlisch and Ms. O'Hara are making their New York Philharmonic debuts.

The Irish Repertory Theatre (132 West 22nd Street) in association with Glucksman Ireland House, The American Irish Historical Society, and The WB Yeats Society of New York will begin previews of The Yeats Project on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. The production will open on Wednesday, April 15. Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciar?n O'Reilly, Producing Director will direct.

John Patrick Shanley To Receive Special WGA Award 2/7

Variety reports that John Patrick Shanley has been chosen to receive the Writers Guild of America East's Ian McLellan Hunter Award for lifetime achievement in Writing. He will be presented with his award at the 61st annual Writers Guild Awards ceremony on February 7th at the Hudson Theater. Oscar, Tony and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright-director John Patrick Shanley has brought his searing drama Doubt to the silver screen. Shanley wrote the screenplay and directs the film adaptation of his Tony winning hit.
