ONCE, an acclaimed new musical based on the 2007 Academy Award-winning film, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for $26.50 orchestra seating. The production will begin previews on Tuesday, February 28 and open Sunday, March 18 at the Bernard B. Jacobs Theatre (242 West 45th Street).

MASTERWORKS BROADWAY releases the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Once: A New Musical. Produced by Steve Epstein and Martin Lowe, the album will be available on March 13, 2012. Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and Mayor's Office of Media & Entertainment Commissioner Katherine Oliver today presented the sixth annual 'Made in NY' Awards, honoring six individuals and organizations which have made significant contributions to the City's entertainment and new media industries. The musical will feature the Academy Award-winning music and lyrics of Glen Hansard and Markéta Irglová, a book by award-winning Irish playwright & screenwriter, Enda Walsh (Penelope, Hunger, The New Electric Ballroom), direction by the acclaimed Scottish director of Black Watch, John Tiffany, design by five time Tony Award winner Bob Crowley (The Coast of Utopia, Mary Poppins).
