Variety reports that celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay will executive produce a new comedy at Fox.

 "We are extremely proud of the series the studio is producing for ABC and other networks. This TV season is especially exciting as we have increased the number of quality shows over last season," said Patrick Moran, EVP, ABC Studios.

ABC continues its commitment to great storytelling with the announcement of its 2015-16 slate of programming, including the addition of 10 new series. Paul Lee, president, ABC Entertainment Group, will unveil the network's new lineup to the advertising and media communities this afternoon at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall.

ABC has greenlit the comedy series UNCLE BUCK,  starring comedian Mike Epps. The show joins three other previously announced comedies for the network including “The Muppets”, “Dr. Ken,”  and “The Real O'Neals.”

According to Deadline, Mike Epps has landed the lead role in ABC's upcoming UNCLE BUCK pilot. The project is a modern take on John Hughes' original film starring John Candy.

This February, FOX brings the heat with all-new episodes of fan-favorite dramas and comedies, as well as season finales and special guest stars.

FOX Television will be airing the last 13 episodes of the popular series GLEE this Winter, but beginning September 17th, it is launching the newest Young Adult weapon in its arsenal, the RED BAND SOCIETY. ABC details its 13 comedy pilots under consideration for next season.

According to Deadline.com, actor and comedian John Leguizamo is set to star in the new ABC pilot, 'Only Fools and Horses.' The comedy is based on the British format. It is adapted and executive produced by Steven Cragg and Brian Bradley. It is also executive produced by Leguizamo's manager Jeff Golenberg.

Melanie Frankel joins USA Network as vice president, original comedy series, it was announced today by Bill McGoldrick, senior vice president, USA original scripted programming. Frankel will focus on comedy development and production, reporting directly to McGoldrick.

The auditions are over ladies and gents. Meaning it's now time to separate the good from the great, the vocally talented from the vocally strained and, of course, the sane from the crazies. Over the next two nights, the remaining 162 acts will compete with each other in a Boot Camp intensive that will bring them that much closer to becoming the winner of The X Factor.

Hosted by Steve Jones, THE X FACTOR made its highly anticipated debut last week on FOX. THE X FACTOR judges Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger began their search for undiscovered talent 12 years old and over - both solo artists and vocal groups - who are worthy of the largest prize in television history: a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. This week the judges travelled to New Jersey for auditions.
