In their ongoing effort to support new works, the Bay Street Theatre kicks off their 26th main stage season with the World Premiere of Andrew Lippa's latest musical The Man In The Ceiling. Running through June 25th, this endearing production, directed by Tony winner Jeffrey Seller, boasts a stellar cast and creative team. Bay Street Theater has announced the full creative team and members of the cast of THE MAN IN THE CEILING, with book by Jules Feiffer, music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa, and directed by Jeffrey Seller, producer of Hamilton.

Orange County, Calif.-Jan. 20, 2015-Rossini's sparkling and humorous operatic retelling of the timeless rags-to-riches tale "Cinderella" is brought to life by Pacific Symphony as part of Family Musical Mornings, presented by Farmers and Merchants Bank. "Cinderella: Opera for Kids!" is an enchanting romantic comedy filled with toe-tapping tunes, colorful characters and splendid orchestration. As part of the Symphony's opera-vocal initiative-which includes Bizet's "Carmen" in February as part of the Classical series-this 45-minute adaptation of Rossini's "La Cenerentola" is designed to introduce children to the world of opera and the beautiful and powerful instrument of the voice.

Producer Bellanca Smigel Rutter (The Bridges of Madison County, Macbeth) will present an additional industry reading of The Me Nobody Knows in New York City on September 16 and 17, 2014 following a two-week dance lab helmed by director Stafford Arima (Allegiance, Altar Boyz), choreographer Taye Diggs (Rent, "Private Practice"), and musical director Bryan Perri (Wicked). The presentations mark the next step toward a commercial production after a successful exploratory reading this past May 2014.

Nova D Arts Collective, Danse4Nia Repertory Ensemble, Company Theatre, and GoKash Productions present "The Boy Who Sees" by Davon Williams, winner of three Philadelphia Urban Theater Festival awards and starring Kash Goins, Erica Brown, Hasan Malik, Andre Brown, and Brett Gray. Jesimiel Jenkins directs. Choreographer: A.C. Gilmore choreographs. The show plays April 11th - April 29th at First Philadelphia Charter School.
