Marking the 25th anniversary of the John Waters' original film, Principal Pops Conductor Jack Everly brings together an all-star cast of Broadway, film and TV stars for the full symphonic production of the Broadway musical Hairspray. The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) will perform Hairspray: In Concert! on Thursday, January 24 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, and at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall on Friday, January 25 at 8 p.m., on Saturday, January 26 at 3 p.m. & 8 p.m. and Sunday, January 27 at 3 p.m.
BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday, December 20th, Broadway Sessions will celebrate the season with it's annual all- star holiday concert spectacular!!! Founded by Deb and Ted Spangles, the Spangles Dance Company is an 80's tribute dance company filled with head-turning hotties who are changing the world one body roll at a time. The Spangles Dance Company has appeared on America's Got Talent, where they received a unanimous "YES" from all three judges.
On November 5, host Christopher Meloni welcomed celebrities, Broadway greats, philanthropy influencers and the New York elite to celebrate Make Believe on Broadway. Tonight is the opening night of the Adirondack Theatre Festival's production of Next to Normal directed by Mark Fleischer, ATF's Artistic Producing Director. The Cast includes Broadway's Sarah Litzsinger as Diana, and Bret Shuford as Dr. Madden. Other Cast members include Billy Clark Taylor as Dan, Mandy Leigh Thompson as Natalie, and Noah Zachary as Henry.
