Syfy's hit series Haven will get a new resident when Bree Williamson (Gossip Girl, One Life to Live) joins the cast for season three as psychiatrist Dr. Claire Callahan.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2011 over 200 people attended 'Stockings with Care's Celebrity Bartending Night' in New York City at Hudson Station Bar and Grill. Stockings with Care provides holiday gifts for children whose families either live in homeless shelters or are in jeopardy of becoming homeless.

Bill Connington, the actor/writer, visited The Streetwork Drop-In Center for Homeless Youth at 209 West 125th Street in New York.

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.

The 24th Annual Night of a Thousand Gowns benefit, held on Saturday March 27, honored famed director/choreographer Jerry Mitchell. Featured performers included actors from 'Football Strip' and Stimulus Package,' Broadway star Terri White, music artist Crystal Waters, pop singers Kristine W. and Kelly King, and drag queens Coco Peru and and Jesse Volt. Stars of Daytime TV and Broadway came out in full force at last week's concert series of 'Queen Bea: A Soapsical!' at the Laurie Beechman Theater in Manhattan, which ran Tuesday to Saturday. The hilarious new musical comedy, set backstage at a fictitious soap opera, lovingly parodied the ‘soap' world through a combination of witty industry references, a bouncy musical score, and a zany cast of characters played by real-life soap stars.

Last night, February 8, Second Stage Theatre hosted their annual All-Star Bowling Classic Fundraiser at Lucky Strike Lanes and Lounge. For over 20 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts.

Soap stars Bree Williamson, Jason Tam, Chris Stack and BethAnn Bonner will be returning to the the Laurie Beechman Theater in New York on Tuesday February 9th and Saturday February 13th in the new musical comedy, 'Queen Bea: A Soapsical!' which had its sold-out concert premiere last November.
