Okieriete 'Oak' Onaodowan, best known for originating the roles of Hercules Mulligan and James Madison in Hamilton, will join the cast of the new Broadway musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 as 'Pierre' beginning July 3, 2017, starring alongside Denée Benton as 'Natasha.' As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the new Broadway musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 invited fans to be a part of the upcoming original Broadway cast recording. Just yesterday, fans joined creator Dave Malloy and members of the cast to sing group chorus sections and to play the show's famous egg shakers for the original Broadway cast recording. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special recording session and you can go inside the singalong below!

On Thursday, February 9th, Broadway's Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 celebrated 100 performances at Broadway's Imperial Theatre. The whole cast was on hand to celebrate the occasion and BroadwayWorld.com was there to capture it all. See photos from the backstage celebration below.

On last night's LATE SHOW, guest Josh Groban spoke to Stephen Colbert about making his Broadway debut in the new musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812.

Members of the cast and creative team of NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 and author Steven Suskin celebrated the release of the book The Great Comet: The Journey of a New Musical to Broadway at Barnes & Noble and BroadwayWorld was there to capture the event!

Four-time Tony Award nominee Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) joined the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde last month and will play through the show's final performance on Saturday, December 31st. BroadwayWorld has a first look at Kuhn onstage below!

Dave Malloy, creator of the "intoxicatingly good, rapturous" (Isherwood, NY Times) new musical NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812, will make his Broadway performing debut in the show this spring, stepping into the role of 'Pierre' for 10 performances across May and June 2017.

Four-time Tony Award Nominee Judy Kuhn(Fun Home, She Loves Me, Chess, Les Miserables) joins the cast of Fiddler on the Roof as Golde beginning tonight, Tuesday, November 22nd and will play through the show's final performance on Saturday, December 31st at 2:00 pm.  She takes over the role from Jessica Hecht whose final performance was on Sunday, November 20th.
