Actor and musician Declan Bennett has successfully maintained dual, often intersecting careers as a singer-songwriter and musical theatre performer. He's had chart hits both with band Point Break and as a solo artist, and has tackled several iconic roles, including Roger in a US tour and Broadway run of Rent, Guy in the UK premiere of Once, and now Jesus in Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's Jesus Christ Superstar. This new production at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre celebrates 45 years since the show first opened, and the intimate, gig-like experience - with performers playing instruments - promises to be very different to the recent arena tour.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (The Center) announced the addition of three new performances to its 2016 lineup. On Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 8 p.m., the famed British pop group Culture Club will make its Sonoma County debut. On Friday, October 21, 2016 at 8 p.m., Paula Poundstone, one of the country's foremost humorists, will also make her debut at the The Center for a special evening of comedy. On Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 3 p.m., the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus returns to The Center with their special festive holiday show, Home for the Holidays! The Madison Square Garden Company has announced that tickets for three iconic concerts at the Beacon Theatre are now on sale via a combined Chase Early On Sale. Cyndi Lauper & Boy George, Jackson Browne, and Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Melissa Etheridge will all perform at The Beacon this spring and summer. The Chase Early On Sale is running now through Wednesday, April 13th at 10:00PM. Tickets for all three shows will be available to the general public on Saturday, April 16th at 10:00AM.

?Iconic performer and musical chameleon Cyndi Lauper announced today the DETOUR Tour in support of her upcoming studio album, DETOUR, available May 6 on Sire Records. The 19-city tour will kick off May 9 at the "Mother Church of Country Music," Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and will wrap up June 12 at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre in St. Augustine, Florida. Select dates, including New York City's historic Beacon Theatre, will feature a co-headlining performance by Boy George. The tour arrives at the Dr. Phillips Center on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 8 p.m. in the Walt Disney Theater. Tickets will go on sale to the public Friday, March 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. Cyndi Lauper Fan Club members will have first access to tickets beginning today at 12 p.m. EST while a special presale with the password "CYNDITOUR2016" will begin Tuesday, March 8 at 10 a.m.
