LAByrinth Theater Company (Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O'Donnell & Yul Vázquez, Artistic Directors and Marieke Gaboury Producing Director) continues its fall season with two annual festivals of free staged readings, the Barn Series (October 6 - October 30, 2009) and Live Nude Plays (October 31 - November 3) the Public Theater (425 Lafayette Street) and is pleased to announce award-winning stage veterans David Morse and Martha Plimpton will appear onstage in readings in October.

MCC Theater (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) presents the world premiere ofAlexander Dinelaris' Still Life, directed by Will Frears. The cast features Dominic Chianese, Halley Feiffer, Ian Kahn, Adriane Lenox, Kelly McAndrew, Sarah Paulson,Matthew Rauch and Frederick Weller. Performances began at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street, NYC) on September 16 and continue through November 1, 2009. The Broadway transfer of Steppenwolf's new American play 'Superior Donuts' at the Music Box Theatre celebrated its official opening night on Thursday, October 1, 2009. BroadwayWorld.com's cameras were there as the starry audience arrived for the first night performance.

The producers of the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production of' Thornton Wilder's Our Town, have announced that Obie Award-winner Jason Butler Harner will assume the central role of 'Stage Manager' in David Cromer's staging of Wilder's timeless play. Beginning Tuesday, August 25th, Mr. Harner will succeed Mr. Cromer who departs the company to begin rehearsals for his Broadway directorial debut this fall with Neil Simon's Brighton Beach Memoirs and Broadway Bound.
