American Repertory Theater at Harvard University (A.R.T.) announces October and November 2018 programming at OBERON, its club-style theater space for cutting-edge performance and thriving incubator for local and emerging artists. Upcoming events include A.R.T.'s Live @ OBERON and Afterglow @ OBERON series, as well as independently-produced events.

The Public Theater announced today a final two-week extension for the North American premiere of GIRL FROM THE NORTH COUNTRY.

Full casting has been announced for Caroline, Or Change, the celebrated musical written by Tony Kushner, author of Angels in America, with a soaring score from Tony Award-winning Jeanine Tesori, which will run at the West End's Playhouse Theatre from 20 November 2018 to 9 February 2019.

The month kicks off with local songstress Melveen Leed and the return of the Honolulu Jazz Quartet presenting a Tribute to Bird & Dizzy: The Birth of Bebop. Good music runs in the Artis family, so don't miss PraiseJesus Artis in her Blue Note debut. Netflix welcomes Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated writer and producer Kenya Barris. Barris has entered into a multi-year overall deal to produce new series exclusively at Netflix, starting today, August 16. Under the deal, Barris will write and executive produce all projects through his production company, Khalabo Ink Society.

Italian-born, London-based producer, composer and musician Gaudi has remixed experimental and innovative artist Johny Dar's single, 'Scars' set for release on 24th August via Dar The Music. During his decade-spanning career through which he has released more than 16 albums, 250 productions and 90 remixes, Gaudi has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry including The Orb, Bob Marley, Scissor Sisters, and Simple Minds. His eclectic use of cross-genre production has gained him considerable recognition throughout the world as he brings together fans of electronica, dub and reggae. Gaudi has been featured in major publications the world over including Pop Matters, Clash Music, Louder Sound, Louder Than War to name a few and received airplay from the likes of BBC Music 6's Don Letts.
