Acting and singing dazzle in an otherwise stale and dated WORKING.

Theo Ubique Cabaret Theatre's second musical of the 2019-20 season will be WORKING, based on Stud Terkel's landmark book in which he interviewed Chicagoans about their feelings toward their jobs.

The new Chicago production team of Gosz & Fotos premiere their original musical TRU - A Musical for Mental Health, Nov. 1 through 24 at Stage773, 1225 W. Belmont. Winner of a?oeBest Musica?? and a?oeBest Choreographya?? at the 2018 Chicago Musical Theatre Festival, TRU takes the audience on a thought-provoking journey through the struggles and triumphs of living with mental illness. 

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Stephen J. Albert, Executive Director, announces the extension of Five Guys Named Moe by Clarke Peters, directed by Resident Artist Ron OJ Parson, Music Director Abdul Hamid Royal and Associate Director Felicia P. Fields. Five Guys Named Moe, which features Louis Jordan's greatest hits, now runs through October 15, 2017 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. The fourth installment of Pride Films and Plays' His & His.'  cabaret series - entitled 'Broadway at the Broadway' will be performed on Thursday, June 8 in The Broadway at the Pride Arts Center, 4139 N. Broadway. The His and His series follows the development of LGBT characters on Broadway, and celebrates the artists who wrote the great works of musical theater.
