On the heels of record-breaking theatrical engagements in Boston and Los Angeles, THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL continues to be showered with acclaim, with the Lifetime telefilm earning three NAACP Image Awards when the prestigious awards were handed out on February 5th.

The winners of the '46th NAACP Image Awards' were announced last night during the live broadcast from Pasadena Civic Auditorium which aired on TV One (9-11 p.m. ET live/PT tape-delayed). The two-hour live special was hosted by Anthony Anderson. There was a one-hour live pre-show from the red carpet hosted by Kevin Frazier and Shaun Robinson. Scroll down for the full list of winners!

The Old Globe's West Coast Premiere of The Twenty-seventh Man by award-winning novelist Nathan Englander, directed by Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein, will now play an extra week of performances -- through March 22 -- due to ticket demand for the originally announced run. Tony and Emmy Award winner Hal Linden ("Barney Miller," The Rothschilds) leads a cast of Broadway and Globe veterans including Ron Orbach, Robert Dorfman, Eli Gelb, James Shanklin, and Lowell Byers. The Twenty-seventh Man will run February 14 through March 22 in the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run February 14-18. Opening night is Thursday, February 19 at 8:00 p.m.

The Old Globe today announced Tony and Emmy Award winner Hal Linden ('Barney Miller,' The Rothschilds) will star in the West Coast Premiere of The Twenty-seventh Man by award-winning novelist Nathan Englander, directed by Globe Artistic Director Barry Edelstein. Golden Globe-nominated actor and Broadway veteran Blair Underwood is set to appear on ABC's "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." when the series returns this March.

The star-studded production of Horton Foote's THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL, starring Cicely Tyson in her legendary, Tony Award-winning and Emmy-nominated performance, Tony Award-nominee Vanessa Williams, and Golden Globe nominee Blair Underwood, broke box office and attendance records at Boston's Cutler Majestic Theatre with a gross of $1,045,893 for its engagement. The production was seen by 15,294 audience members, also a record for the venue. Additional touring cities are currently under discussion.

Nominations have been revealed for the 46th annual NAACP Image Awards. The event will take place on Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, and be broadcast live on TV One.

Cicely Tyson reprises her Tony Award-winning role as Carrie Watts in Horton Foote's poignant American classic THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL now in its only east coast engagement at the Emerson/Cutler Majestic Theatre in Boston, Mass. The ArtsEmerson World on Stage production continues through December 7.

Believing the best things in life are free - well, almost..., elderly Carrie Watts (Cicely Tyson), in her Tony-winning role, proves just how healing a return to one's roots, however brief, may be. This Broadway revival directed by Michael Wilson also stars Vanessa Williams from the original New York production and Blair Underwood replacing Cuba Gooding Jr. It's a stellar cast, achieving a truly beautiful representation of Foote's infreqeuntly seen work.
