Yesterday, Questlove turned to Instagram to share a photo of the string recording session for the highly anticipated cast album.

Atlantic Records will release 'HAMILTON (ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING),' the musical companion to the critically acclaimed Broadway show, 'HAMILTON.' 'HAMILTON (ORIGINAL BROADWAY CAST RECORDING)' is available for pre-order at all DSPs today, August 7th, one day after the show's official Broadway opening night at the Richard Rodgers Theatre (226 W. 46 St.).

In a new interview with Billboard, HAMILTON creator Lin-Manuel Miranda and the cast album's executive producers, Questlove and Black Thought, opened up about the show's political relevance, President Obama's reaction to the piece and much, much more.
