Genre defying R&B/Soul goddess Deva Mahal is set to release her much-anticipated debut album Run Deep on March 23 via Motéma Music, fresh off the success of her self-titled introductory EP. Run Deep was produced by Scott Jacoby (Vampire Weekend, José James, Coldplay), with two tracks produced by Jarrett Wetherell (Beyonce/FKA Twigs). Black Violin is coming to the Marcus Center's Uihlein Hall for one night only today, October 28 at 7:30 pm.

Hip-hop meets classical violin when the nationally-acclaimed band, Black Violin, plays the Aronoff Center's Procter & Gamble Hall today, October 17, 2017 at 7:30 PM. 

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center announced today that tickets for Black Violin will go on sale Friday, September 29 at 10 a.m. Classically trained violist and violinist Wil B. and Kev Marcus, Black Violin, will perform at 9:45 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018 at Strauss Square in the downtown Dallas Arts District.

AMC announced today that AMC VISIONARIES: ROBERT KIRKMAN'S SECRET HISTORY OF COMICS will premiere as a two-night television event starting on Sunday, November 12th at 11:00 p.m. ET/PT, followed by a second episode onMonday, November 13th at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, in its regular time slot.

Third Street Music School Settlement, the nation's longest running community school, has announced that this year's Spring Gala will honor Grammy-Award-winning hip-hop group The Roots, Clarfeld Financial Advisors, and Beverly Harper, Third Street Safety Director of nearly two decades.

Amazon is currently developing an animated children's series, South Street Sounds (working title), along with a live-action children's series, with Grammy Award winning hip-hop band The Roots and their Passyunk Productions.
