Two days before the beginning of summer, the Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD) announces the return of the highly reveredLincoln Park Music Festival. The 8th annual highly anticipated event consistently attracts a growing number of attendees and last year the numbers exceeded 40,000 people over what was then a three-day event.

VH1 and Palladia are celebrating Independence Day with fireworks and four-time Grammy award-winning band, The Roots for the third annual Philly 4th of July Jam. Kicking off in the City of Brotherly Love, The Philly 4 th of July Jam, a signature event of the Wawa Welcome America! festival, will be simulcast on VH1 and Palladia tonight, July 4 from 8-11PM ET and live streamed on VH1.com. Hometown favorites The Roots, serve as the house band with this year's lineup, including: John Mayer, Jill Scott, Demi Lovato, Ne-Yo, Grace Potter and J. Cole. Capping off the musical event, the evening will include a spectacular fireworks display over the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Comedian Kevin Hart has been named the host of the third annual Philly 4 th of July Jam, as part of the Wawa Welcome America! Festival. The event will be simulcast on VH1 and Palladia on Thursday, July 4 from 8-11PM ET.

Written and directed by Melanie Maria Goodreaux, "Katrina Who?!" honors the seventh anniversary of Hurricane Katrina through the personal stories of five NOLA residents who recount the destruction, devastation, survival and triumph in the aftermath of the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of 2005.
