The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) today announces the 11 musicals that have been invited by NYMF to be presented with the 12 previously announced Next Link Project productions. NYMF will also announce the festival's Developmental Reading Series and other special events in the upcoming weeks. This year's festival will be presented September 27 - October 17 at venues around Manhattan. A complete list of shows and their writers are below.

Cinnabar Theater has announced its 2010 to 2011 season, which includes comedies, musicals and a new play entitled 'Dracula,' written expressly for Cinnabar Theater by playwright and screenwriter Eric Overmyer the writer of hit HBO shows 'The Wire' and 'Treme.'

The July 2010 National Jazz Museum in Harlem schedule puts particular focus on the visual side of the jazz genre, as we feature classic films in our Jazz for Curious Listeners series (inaugurating a new collaboration with The Maysles Institute), interview one of the premier jazz photographers in the nation, Frank Stewart, for our flagship Harlem Speaks public program, and screen a rare film of 'The High Priestess of Soul,' Nina Simone.

Idina Menzel made her Texas debut Thursday night at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, and impressed the 2000+ people in attendance so much that she was called out for two encores.

The National Jazz Museum's June line-up includes discussions with musical artists Paquito D'Rivera and Craig Harris for Harlem Speaks; a talk with a living literary legend, Peter Straub, at Jazz for Curious Readers; and our adult education series, Jazz for Curious Listeners, features instrumentalists Jeremy Pelt, Nicholas Payton and Orrin Evans taking the reins of discourse on jazz in the 21st century. The Town Hall presents the Fourth Annual Summer Broadway Festival created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for The Town Hall. Presented on three consecutive Monday nights in July at 8PM are BROADWAY WINNERS: THE AWARD-WINNING MUSIC OF BROADWAY! on July 12th, BROADWAY'S RISING STARS on July 19th, and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' on July 26th. Created, written and hosted by Scott Siegel for the Town Hall, the new Broadway performers include Norm Lewis (The Little Mermaid), Karen Mason (Mama Mia!), Astaire Award-winner Spencer Liff (Cry- Baby), Michael Winther (Mama Mia!), Douglas Ladnier (Jekyll & Hyde) and Ann Harada (Avenue Q).

Catalina Bar & Grill will present a performance of a new critically acclaimed CD of romantic ballads, 'CORKY HALE...AND FRIENDS - I'M GLAD THERE IS YOU,' featuring Corky Hale, the world renowned Jazz pianist, harpist and singer with her friends, singers Sally Kellerman, Freda Payne, Ariana Savalas, Tricia Tahara and Brenna Whitaker for One Night Only!!!
