How can Kritzerland make a Christmas show unusual and different? Well, you can either be exceedingly solemn and point the show in the 'Silent Night' direction, or pull out all the stops and run with the comedy. Kritzerland shows have one thing in common: they are never a drag. Bruce Kimmel sees to that whether Guy Haines is a guest or not. Solemn music? No, not in Kritzerland's nature! Fun, yes, always, as Kimmel's personality and anecdotes are full of the demon and amusingly interesting trivia about Broadway show tunes and Hollywood movie music. On Sunday December 2, at Sterling's Upstairs at the Federal, Kimmel and his fine singers: Dan Callaway, Damon Kirsche, Emma Degerstedt, Lisa Livesay, Jane Noseworthy, and Jenna Rosen with very special guest star Bill Hayes, a 40 year veteran of Days of Our Lives, were on hand to present and celebrate Broadway, film and rock/pop holiday cheer. Lloyd Cooper served as musical director/accompanist extraordinaire throughout the 90-minute set that made up Kritzerland Records' Christmas with a Little Bit of Hannukah and a Lot of Cheer.

The 28th Kritzerland show is the annual holiday show tonight, December 2 at 7PM. This year's lineup is very eclectic, featuring holiday songs from the world of pop, film, TV, and stage, plus some originals, all sung by the cast, special guest Bill Hayes, and host Bruce Kimmel.

CAROLS FOR A CURE is the annual two-disc holiday CD compilation of original songs and holiday classics which benefits BC/EFA. These CDs boast the best voices from the worlds of Broadway, Off-Broadway and national tours. A full track list for this year's 14th edition has not yet been announced, but the cast of Broadway's PETER AND THE STARCATCHER was already hard a work this week recording their track for the album. Palm Beach Dramaworks announced that Palm Beach's own 'Grill 264' Restaurant will honor the acclaimed theatre company with a special celebrity bartending event on Thursday, February 24th (5:30-7:30). Located at 264 South County Road, celebrities from the world of show business are planning to be guest mixologists and tend bar for the evening. Some of the them include Seaview Radio Hosts Joe Ranieri & Jo Ann Pflug as well as Dramaworks' producing Artistic Director Bill Hayes. There is no cover charge for this evening.
