The Museum at Bethel Woods Brings West Coast Art and Style to New York with 2021 Special Exhibit

The Museum at Bethel Woods – located at the historic site  of the 1969 Woodstock festival dedicated to preserving the legacy of the 1960s – will reopen on Saturday, April 3rd, 2021, featuring the Special Exhibit Lights, Color, Fashion: Psychedelic Posters and Patterns of 1960s San Francisco.

On April 4th, The Museum at Bethel Woods, located at the site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, will open for the 2020 season with the Special Exhibit Lights, Color, Fashion: Psychedelic Posters and Patterns of 1960s San Francisco. This exhibit showcases a phenomenal ensemble of San Francisco rock posters and fashion from the kaleidoscopic years of 1964 to 1972, gathered by collector Gary Westford.

Mid-Michigan's award winning professional theatre company, Williamston Theatre, located at 122 S. Putnam Street in downtown Williamston, takes a turn at classic literate with the Michigan Premiere of 1984 by George Orwell, adapted by Michael Gene Sullivan.  Performances begin Thursday, March 23 and run through Sunday, April 23.  Tickets go on sale Tuesday, February 28 at Noon.

White received a 2004 Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Adaptation for George Orwell's 1984. The season concludes with the world premiere of The Compass, devised and directed by Michael Rohd. The Compass is an interactive experience that explores the intersection of technology and decision-making.

The Broadway production of A Night With Janis Joplin plays its final performance tonight, Sunday, February 9 at 7PM at the Lyceum Theatre. The show has played 22 preview performances and 141 regular performances since beginning previews on Friday, September 20 and opening on Thursday, October 10. A Night With Janis Joplin will move to a new home in New York City this March.

On that date, the show will have played 22 preview performances and 141 regular performances. A Night With Janis Joplin will move to a new home in New York City this March.
