Kate Baldwin Celebrates CD Release at Feinstein's, 12/13

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, will continue its star-studded Fall 2009 season with Broadway star, KATE BALDWIN on December 13. For her show at Feinstein's the Finian's Rainbow star will celebrate the release of her debut album, Let's See What Happens, devoted to the music and lyrics of Finian's Rainbow creators Burton Lane and E.Y. Harburg. Selections will include the tender 'How Are Things in Glocca Morra?,' a swinging rendition of 'Come Back to Me' and the raucous and robust 'I Don't Think I'll End It All Today.'

Jenen, will present The Age of Iron, an epic retelling of the Trojan War, drawn from Shakespeare's Troilus & Cressida and Thomas Heywood's Iron Age, adapted and directed by Brian Kulick. Previews for The Age of Iron will begin Friday, November 6, with an official opening Sunday, November 22 at Classic Stage Company at 7pm. The Age of Iron will play a limited engagement through December 13 only.

Review - The Seagull: Art Isn't Easy

Anton Chekhov's The Seagull, as anyone who has ever committed suicide will tell you, is a comedy.  Maybe not as reflective a comedy as set designer Santo Loquasto's mirrored floor would suggest, but Russian director Vlachesalv Dolgachev's new production at Classic Stage Company neatly balances the humorous with the somber and, despite a few stumbles along the way, turns out to be a rather enjoyable and swift-moving three hours and fifteen minutes.

Frost/Nixon previews on Tuesday April 14th, opens on Friday, April 17th and runs through May 10th, 2009. Tickets range from $30.00 to $66.50, with student and under 30 discounts available. Rush tickets for Frost/Nixon are $15 and available starting 10 minutes prior to curtain.
