Cabaret is Alive and Well and Living in Los Angeles, benefit concert weekend for The Actors Fund, is back for the 6th year in a row. Conceived and Directed by David Galligan, the 3-night event is presented by Fraser Entertainment Group. All proceeds benefit The Actors Fund.

An Evening of Classic Broadway returned to Upstairs at Vitello's for Mother's Day, where it launched 5 years ago. Headed by Brad Ellis and Dianne Fraser, this was a family show entitled A Classic Broadway Mother's Day, with performers appearing and performing with sons or daughters On tap were Nita Whitaker with her lovely daughter Skye LaFontaine, Tami Tappan Damiano with her son Dante Damiano, Karen Benjamin and her daughter Molly Chapman, Bill A. Jones, the only father, with his daughter Samantha A. Jones, and of course, individually and together, hosts Fraser and Ellis.

There are undoubtedly other productions worthy of merit in 2015 which I did not cover. This list is based only on what I saw and reviewed. This man is not only handsome with an affable charm onstage, but can truly sing these old standards with a smooth delivery and the fine easy-going style that they deserve. The packed SRO crowd would surely agree. Backed by three stellar musicians, musical director Paul McDonald at the keys, Steve Pemberton on drums and Kurt Smith on bass - known as Paul McDonald the A Players - for 90 minutes the 'joint was really jumpin' '.

Everybody's favorite character actress/singer/ comedienne from stage, TV and film Mary Jo Catlett will appear in S.T.A.G.E on May 9 at 7: 30 at the Saban in Beverly Hills. This year's show is entitled To Broadway from Hollywood...with Love. What are you doing in the show this year?

On last night's episode of Glee titled 'The End of Twerk,' Rachel Berry (Lea Michele) and Paolo (guest star Ioan Gruffudd) rehearsed 'You Are Woman, I Am Man' from Broadway's 'Funny Girl.' This season, Berry was cast in a fictional Broadway revival of the classic show.

Glee fans will recognize TV news anchor 'Rod Remington' played by Bill A. Jones, but he's also an accomplished singer who'll perform his show "The Great Gentlemen Of Song" on Sunday, October 27th as the closing show of the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series presented by Les Michaels at the Arthur Newman Theater in Palm Desert. Joining Mr. Jones will be musical director Steve Rawlins and his trio. It also marks the final show of the 5th successful season, which has been invited back next year and to begin one month earlier, in April, and run through October.

The JazzTime Band swings with Band Members Don Shelton, Allen Goodman, Larry Holloway and Terry Trotter with new world-class guests that join the band each and every week.

Jeff Goldblum stars in SEMINAR by Theresa Rebeck, directed by Sam Gold and produced by Jeffrey Finn, Jill Furman, John N. Hart Jr., Patrick Milling Smith, Roy Furman, David Ian, David Mirvish, Amy Nauiokas and James Spry, in its West Coast Premiere at Center Theatre Group's Ahmanson Theatre.
