VIDEO: HOLIDAY INN Dances Into the Marriott Theatre

Celebrate a whole year of holidays in one wonderful musical with the regional premiere of Irving Berlin's joyous HOLIDAY INN, running November 7 through January 6 with a press opening on November 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marriott Theatre (10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire). Inspired by the 1942 classic film, HOLIDAY INN features a beloved score by one of the greatest songwriters in American history, Irving Berlin. Tony Award nominee Denis Jones (Pre-Broadway: Tootsie; Broadway: Holiday Inn; Broadway/Marriott Theatre: Honeymoon in Vegas) directs and choreographs this Broadway hit, joined by Jeff Award-winning Musical Director Ryan T. Nelson.

Alexandra Silber directs Pace University School of Performing Arts first-year students Kevin Csolak and Bethany Tesarck in an adaptation of Ovid's METAMORPHOSES with text from the play by Mary Zimmerman, additional choreography by Noah Racey, and music by Willy Schwartz and Antigoni Goni. Photo Flash: Laura Benanti, Jenn Colella & More Take the Stage for Broadway Artists Alliance's Season Kick-Off Concert

Broadway Artists Alliance, a New York City-based musical theatre training program, kicked off their 10th season with a star-studded concert as part of the Broadway at Birdland concert series on Monday night. Performers, as well as instructors and alumni sang their all-time favorite show tunes. The cast included Laura Benanti (left, by Seth Walters), Jenn Colella, Andrea Burns, David Ayers, and Heather Parcells, who were joined by BAA Alumni Liz Byrne, Emma Howard, Kyle Taylor Parker, Ruby Rakos, Emerson Steele, Bethany Tesarck, and Clay Thomson. Proceeds from this event will benefit the BAA scholarship fund, which provides $10,000 in scholarships each year.

Kidz Theater will present it's fall Mainstage Musical, Cabaret, music by John Kander & Fred Ebb, book by Joe Masteroff, directed by Kristen Caesar. Cabaret stars a cast of New York City's most talented professional young performers, including Jenny Mollet of Broadway's The Color Purple. The production runs today, November 9th-18th.

Sutton Foster, Christopher Sieber & Lenny Wolpe Lead A DAY IN GLOUCESTER Reading, 10/26 - 10/27

On October 26th and October 27th, a private industry reading of the musical A Day in the Life of Gloucester will take place, featuring Tony Award winner Sutton Foster (Shrek), and Broadway vets Christopher Sieber (Shrek) and Lenny Wolpe (The Drowsy Chaperone). Lonny Price (A Class Act) will direct the reading at Chelsea Studios. The musical features a book by Bob Walton with music and lyrics by Jim Walton.
