The Marriott Theatre Announces Casting For HOLIDAY INN Celebrate a whole year of holidays in one wonderful musical with the regional premiere of Irving Berlin's joyous HOLIDAY INN, running November 7 through January 6 with a press opening on November 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Marriott Theatre (10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire). Inspired by the 1942 classic film, HOLIDAY INN features a beloved score by one of the greatest songwriters in American history, Irving Berlin. Tony Award nominee Denis Jones (Pre-Broadway: Tootsie; Broadway: Holiday Inn; Broadway/Marriott Theatre: Honeymoon in Vegas) directs and choreographs this Broadway hit, joined by Jeff Award-winning Musical Director Ryan T. Nelson.

"I am completely elated to revisit my work from the Broadway production of HOLIDAY INN at the Marriott Theatre," says Denis Jones. "It's an honor to celebrate some of the greatest works of Irving Berlin and join forces with some of the most talented actors in theatre. With mesmerizing costumes and equally enthralling performances, audiences will leave with a few holiday surprises and a whole lot of holiday spirit."

HOLIDAY INN is the story of Jim, who leaves the bright lights of show business behind to settle down at his farmhouse in Connecticut... but life just isn't the same without a bit of song and dance. Jim's luck takes a spectacular turn when he meets Linda, a spirited schoolteacher with talent to spare. Together they turn the farmhouse into a fabulous inn with dazzling performances to celebrate each holiday, from Thanksgiving to the Fourth of July. With thrilling dance numbers, laugh-out-loud comedy and a parade of hit songs, including "Blue Skies," "Steppin' Out With My Baby," "Heat Wave," "White Christmas," "Shaking the Blues Away" and many more, this year-round romance is sure to bring the holiday spirit to the Marriott Theatre and beyond.

HOLIDAY INN stars Michael Mahler as "Jim Hardy" (Marriott Theatre: Honeymoon in Vegas, City of Angels, Spelling Bee, Shenandoah), Will Burton as "Ted Hanover" (Broadway: Holiday Inn, An American in Paris), Kimberly Immanuel as "Lila Dixon" (Off Broadway: Heartbreak Hotel, Pacific Overtures, The Fantasticks), Johanna Mckenzie Miller as "Linda Mason" (Marriott: Oklahoma!, October Sky), Marya Grandy as "Louise" (Marriott: Honeymoon in Vegas, On the Town), Lorenzo Rush Jr. as "Danny Reed," and Patrick Scott McDermott as "Charlie Winslow," with Aaron Burr, Joe Capstick, Preetish Chakraborty, Annie Jo Ermel, Alejandro Fonseca, Adam LaSalle, Jarran Muse, Tony Neidenbach, Madison Piner, Liam Quealy, Collin Sanderson, Laura Savage, Amanda Tanguay, Elizabeth Telford, Bethany Tesarck, Diana Vaden and Jessica Wolfrum.

The production will feature set design by Scott Davis, costume design by Sally Dolembo, lighting design by Jesse Klug, sound design by Bob Gilmartin, properties design by Eleanor Kahn, projections and media design by Anthony Churchill, hair and makeup design by Jennifer Lightfoot and Miguel A. Armstrong and musical supervision and orchestra conducted by Patti Garwood.

The performance schedule for HOLIDAY INN is Wednesdays at 1:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Thursdays at 7:30 p.m., Fridays at 8:00 p.m., Saturdays at 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Sundays at 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with select Thursday 1:00 p.m. shows. Holiday weeks may have adjusted schedules. Ticket prices range from $50 to $60, including tax and handling fees. Call for student, senior, and military discounts.
