The Garden Theatre will present the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning drama Doubt, A Parable, showing tonight, February 6 - 22, 2015 at the Garden Theatre (160 West Plant St, Winter Garden). ?The Winter Park Playhouse's Spotlight Cabaret Series will premier, popular cabaret artist and performer, Janine Klein's newest cabaret, Let's Fall In Love!, on February 17 & 18, ?in honor of Valentine's Day. Playhouse musical director, Christopher Leavy, will accompany on piano.

The Who's Tommy started out in 1969 as a double-album and was an instant hit with critics and fans. The rock opera then went on to spawn a film in 1975 and the Tony Award-winning Broadway version in 1992. The original album has sold over 20 million copies world-wide and was inducted to the Grammy Hall of fame in 1998.

The Garden Theatre, located at 160 West Plant Street in historic Winter Garden, is pleased to announce the 2014-2015 Theatre Season, running from September 2014-May 2015. In addition to the five full-length theatrical presentations and the StarLite Film Festival, the season will be dotted with weekend events such as music and dance concerts, as well as movies and holiday offerings. Subscriptions will go on sale April 1 for current subscribers, April 15 for new subscribers, and May 1 for single tickets at gardentheatre.org or by calling the Garden Theatre Box Office at 407-877-GRDN (4736)..

A variation in music occurs when a theme is repeated in different ways, but has changes in rhythm, melody, orchestration, etc. The play parallels classical composer Beethoven's later life with Dr. Katherine Brandt. This is definitely not a show to see if you want a fuzzy upbeat good performance, but there's something to be said about the beauty of story and quality of actors. In short, 33 VARIATIONS is depressing, but beautifully done.

The Garden Theatre will present the Central Florida Premiere of the gripping Broadway drama 33 Variations, March 14 - 30, 2014, with shows Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 2pm & 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. In addition, an Industry Night performance will be offered Monday, March 24 at 8pm.
