Broadway is back in the park! Broadway in Bryant Park has returned for the 2018 season, bringing the best of Broadway together for free performances for six consecutive weeks from through Thursday, August 16. The Bryant Park stage is located at 6th Avenue between 40th and 42nd Streets. Lawn seating is first-come, first-serve.

Broadway in Bryant Park will return this summer! The 2018 program will bring the best of Broadway together for free performances for six consecutive weeks from Thursday, July 12 to Thursday, August 16. New Yorkers and visitors to the Big Apple are invited to come at 11 a.m. every Thursday with performances running from 12:30 p.m. EST - 1:30 p.m. EST on the Bryant Park Stage. Hosted by 106.7 LITE FM's on-air personalities, this year's annual presentation of open-air lunch hour performances featuring the best Broadway and Off-Broadway shows will be presented by your local Toyota Dealers, VISIT PHILADELPHIA and FUJIFILM Instax.

Can we just talk about Beth Johnson Nicely for a second? Thanks to the miracle of algorithms, this master tapper has made her way into my Discover feed recently, brightening my days with her killer routines, hot fitness tips, backstage antics, and iconic red tap shoes.

 In this episode: Broadway's Beth Johnson Nicely was just thrust back into the audition world after the closing of Something Rotten, but with her tap shoes in hand she is forever moving forward. New York has forced this Ohio gal to grow up in the business, but it hasn't darkened her truly nice spirit.  She may not carry headshots developed in her high school darkroom in her purse anymore, but this sweet girl knows the difference between being sexy verses sexual, is self aware,  and will continue to love learning; because that is what makes her strong (and also Body by Simone).

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Something Rotten! will welcome David Beach (It's Only a Play, Fish in the Dark, Mamma Mia!) as 'Brother Jeremiah' in the ten-time Tony Award-nominated musical comedy beginning Friday, January 15 at The St. James Theatre.

The new musical comedy Something Rotten!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, officially opens on Broadway tonight, April 22, 2015 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street). The world premiere production of the new musical comedy BULLETS OVER BROADWAY,written by Woody Allen and based on the screenplay by Allen and Douglas McGrath for the 1994 film and directed and choreographed by five-time Tony Award® winner Susan Stroman, will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, August 24 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street).
