Three Day Hangover to Stage New Versions of DRACULA and TARTUFFE at New Home This Fall

THREE DAY HANGOVER -- the acclaimed interactive theater company -- move into their own venue this fall for two new productions filled with drinking, drama and fun. After staging several acclaimed shows in bars across the city, they will now present DRACULA and TARTUFFE in their new home, McAlpin Hall at The West Park Presbyterian Church on 86th and Amsterdam this fall. The New York City premiere of Steven Dietz's bold interpretation of the timeless classic DRACULA, directed by Lori Wolter Hudson, will run September 30 to October 17, and a brand new adaptation of Moliere's classic farce TARTUFFE, directed by Beth Gardiner, will be performed November 4 to November 21.

Three Day Hangover, the unique performance company has received rave reviews for their shows. And, now they will premiere a limited engagement of Hank V, based on William Shakespeare's Henry V. It will be performed at Stumble Inn's East Wing, 2nd Avenue and 76th Street on the Upper East Side from tonight, February 18th to February 20th and February 26th to March 1st. All shows start at 7:30 pm.

The second full production of their 2014 Season, Drunkle Vanya will be staged at The Gin Mill, 442 Amsterdam Avenue (bet. West 81st and 82nd Streets) in NYC from today, September 4-18, 2014.

DRUNK SHAKESPEARE to Offer Late Night Performances this Weekend

Due to popular demand, The Drunk Shakespeare Society has added two special late night performances of DRUNK SHAKESPEARE on Friday, April 11 & Saturday, April 12 at 10PM. For these special performances, the 'Drunk Actor' from the 8PM performance will drink again at 10PM, adding an extra layer of drunken debauchery to the late night show. DRUNK SHAKESPEARE, an irreverent and outrageous new theatrical experience is directed by David Hudson, conceived by Scott Griffin & Three Day Hangover (David Hudson, Lori Wolter Hudson and Beth Gardiner) and produced by Scott Griffin.

Three Day Hangover Announces 2014 Season - Shakespeare, Chekhov and More

After bursting onto the New York theater scene in 2013 with back-to-back, critically-acclaimed productions, Three Day Hangover has planned a stellar 2014 season, announced today by co-artistic directors David Hudson, Beth Gardiner and Lori Wolter Hudson. The company will continue bringing innovative, joyful productions of classic plays to bars. This spring, they will produce Twelfth Night infused with a New York flair and a live band karaoke. Come summer, they'll shake things up by adding Chekhov to the mix in a vodka-soaked adaptation of Uncle Vanya. They'll finish the year with a Super-Secret Smash-Up of two Shakespeare plays combined into one, unique event. The company will kick off its season with a Big Boozy Benefit to be held on March 30, 2014 at 7pm at Rockwood Music Hall, 196 Allen Street (between East Houston and Stanton) in NYC.

Burning Coal Theatre Company to Present THE JESUS FUND, 1/30-2/16

Burning Coal Theatre Company of Raleigh, NC will present the world premiere of Terry Milner's The Jesus Fund January 30 through February 16, 2014. Performance dates are Thursdays through Saturdays, January 30 - February 1, February 6 - 8 and February 13 - 15 at 7:30 pm and Sundays, February 2, 9 and 16th at 2 pm. Tickets are $25, or $20 for seniors (65+) and $15 for students. All Thursday night tickets are $15. Sunday, February 2 at 2 pm is Pay What You Can day and will be audio described for the sight impaired. Tickets may be purchased by calling 919.834.4001 or by visiting www.burningcoal.org.
